Dear Quality Christian Home Health Care Family,
As you know, the effects of Tropical Storm Isaias is expected to impact our area, with the heaviest impact all day Monday 8/3/20 into early 8/4/20 Tuesday. The current forecasted track fortunately has it skirting the coast of Georgia and South Carolina, with landfall potentially falling in northern South Carolina or southern North Carolina. Although this forecast could change, by either strengthening to a hurricane or turning and not severely impacting our area. However We encourage you to stay informed before, during and after the storm. The South Carolina Division of Emergency Management has a mobile app for updates. You can find information at www.scemd.org Additionally, FEMA has information on their website at www.FEMA.gov.

In preparation for the storm, we will be going to each client’s home and removing all items from your balcony or patio to an inside location, including all hanging plants. Our team will move all clients from their home to a safe place, if necessary. Our team will continue to keep you updated on the storm track and forecast. Your well-being is our first priority and most important to us, so please take all recommendations from local authorities seriously. West Carolina Avenue to revert to previous look, for now. https://bit.ly/3j9KxLr

New traffic calming measures on West Carolina Avenue were so unpopular that the town decided to scrap them and revert to the previous road design.

The road began to look different this month after five intersections on West Carolina Avenue were realigned and a center median was added. The realignments were supposed to cause a lateral diversion of traffic at the intersections, forcing traffic to slow down. However, many people complained that the changes made the road more dangerous.
