👋 Meet Teresa
(I am not Teresa. I am the pelvic floor therapist who helped her stop leaking p*e.)

67 years young
Stage 2 prolapse.
A constant heaviness “down there.”
Leaking when she bent over.
Up 2–3 times a night.
Pads in every purse.
Intimacy? Avoided because of pain and pressure.

She had been managing this for 15 years.

She was told:
✨ Prolapse doesn’t reverse.
✨ Avoid lifting.
✨ Wear support garments.
✨ Surgery is the real solution.
✨ Pain with s*x is common after menopause.

She believed her body was wearing out.
That this was just what happens in your 60s.

But there was a quiet thought she couldn’t shake:
What if I don’t have to live like this?

She joined Urine Good Company.

Six months later:
😴 Sleeping through the night
🩲 No pads
🚽 Urgency controlled
❤️ Comfortable intimacy
🚶‍♀️ Walking without heaviness
❌ No surgery consult
😌 “I feel steady in my body again.”

She didn’t need to avoid movement.
She didn’t need to brace herself all day.
She didn’t need to accept prolapse as decline.

She needed education.
She needed pressure management.
She needed coordination and nervous system work before strengthening.

She wasn’t broken.
She was untaught.

And once she learned, everything shifted.

If you’re in your 60s thinking it’s too late—

Because age is not the ending. It’s just another beautiful chapter.

I would immediately stop doing this if I started leaking urine again.
And I’m saying this as a former urine leaker turned pelvic floor therapist.

I would stop p*eing “just in case.” 🚫🚽

Here’s why:
Every time you p*e without an actual urge, you teach your brain and bladder to panic early.
You lower your bladder’s tolerance.
You train urgency.
You reinforce the “I can’t trust my body” loop.
Your bladder needs to fill all the way to then send a calm signal to the brain.

Training your bladder to think it needs to empty every time you walk through the front door or before you leave the house or before ______ (fill in the blank) confuses the heck out of it. (This is training urgency).

When you p*e just in case, your nervous system stays on high alert, your bladder contracts sooner than it should, and your pelvic floor never gets a chance to coordinate the way it’s designed to.

Bladder control is a communication skill, not a willpower problem. Read that again. We don’t hold it and power though. We TRAIN it!

And yes, this is one of the first habits I fixed to stop leaking for good. Don’t ever overlook your bladder habits. They are the key to stop leaking urine

On your next urge, stop and slow down. Take a few deep breaths and walk to the bathroom calmly. This lets the nervous system know “we are safe and not being chased by a bear”. Practice this.

✨ If this hit a nerve (or a bladder 😏),
✅ reply DRY and I’ll send you my pelvic floor masterclass.

Hold the red. (The saying I tell my children and myself when in doubt my capability.) Your body can learn this. 💥

3 times p*eing just in case is okay:
After intimacy
Before bed
Before a car ride longer than 1.5 hours

Exposing what you’re doing that’s making your urine leakage worse.

It’s not your bladder being “too small.”
It’s not that your body is broken.
And it’s not because you’ve been stamped with “overactive bladder.” Even if you have been diagnosed with overactive bladder syndrome.

It’s the just in case p*eing. It isn’t only the just in case p*eing but that is a big player.

Every time you go “just to be safe,” you lower your bladder’s tolerance.
You teach it: 🚨 We empty at this level now.
So it sends the urge sooner. And sooner. And sooner. Hello frequency and urgency!

Do that for years?
Your bladder starts working overtime… reacting to signals it was never designed to treat as emergencies.

That’s why medication can quiet things temporarily.
But it doesn’t retrain the pattern.
It doesn’t undo the habit loop between your brain and your bladder.

Bladder freedom isn’t found in panic p*eing.
It’s found in releasing the habits that overstimulate her in the first place. She’s overactive because you have overstimulated her for years. Give her a vacation.

When you change the habit → you change the signal.
When you change the signal → you change the leak.

And suddenly…
You’re not scanning every store for a bathroom.
You’re not planning your life around the next urge.
You’re back in charge.

Comment HABIT and I’ll send you 4 more bladder habits to knock off so your bladder can function the way it was built to. 💛

👋 Meet Donna
(I am not Donna. I’m the pelvic floor therapist who helped her stop leaking!)

74 years young
Up all night p*eing.
Urgency daily.
Thickest pads possible.
Consumed by thoughts of her bladder and leaking all day and night.

She was told by her Urologist:
✨ Drink less water.
✨ Try medication.
✨ This is aging.
✨ Not much else I can do outside of surgery. I would expect much from pelvic floor therapy. (Thank you ma’am. Hold my beer real fast while I help your patient get her freedom back)

Update after joining my pelvic floor program:
😴 Sleeping 7+ hours
🚽 Calm bladder
🩲 Pads gone
🌞 Energy back
🌊 Traveled to the beach for the first time in 27 years with family.

She wasn’t too old. There was so much more we could do: Hydration, habits, exercise, mobility, nutrition, and nervous system work changed everything. I show my clients how to transform their lives.

I don’t spot treat symptoms. You work with me and we fix the system. My program works. Someone’s age or diagnosis has never scared me away from guiding women to their goals.

Exposing what you are doing to make your urine leakage worse 👀

You’re not leaking “randomly.”

You’re leaking with a pattern.

And when you say,
“I have no idea when it happens”…
that’s the exact thing keeping you stuck.

Because leakage is data.

If you leak when you run —
Is it the first 2 minutes?
When you pick up sp*ed?
When you’re tired?
On hills?
At mile 3 when your breathing shifts and your shoulders creep up to your ears?

Right before leakage happens, your body tells a story.

• What is your breathing doing?
• Are you bracing your abs?
• Is your posture collapsing?
• Did urgency spike before the leak?

When you slow down and look at the details, you stop guessing.

And when you stop guessing, you stop throwing generic solutions at a very specific problem.

Generic advice gives you generic plans:
“Do more Kegels.”
“Drink less water.”
“Take this.”

But your pelvic floor isn’t generic.
Your nervous system isn’t generic.
Your leakage definitely isn’t generic.

When you learn to identify your patterns, you gain power.
Power to prepare.
Power to adjust.
Power to train your body instead of fighting it.

This is why my clients don’t just “try exercises.”
We study their data.
We build a plan that matches their body.

And that’s when things finally change. 💙

👋 Meet Diane
(I am not Diane. I am the pelvic floor therapist who helped her stop leaking p*e.)

64 years young
Pelvic organ prolapse.
Pain every day.
Intimacy? A hard no for years.
Leaking urine when she stood up.
Up 3–4 times a night.
Urgency that made her rush to the bathroom.
Pads for 20 years.

Twenty. Years.

She was told:
✨ This is what happens after menopause.
✨ Prolapse doesn’t improve without surgery.
✨ Pain with s*x is common at your age.
✨ Wear protection.
✨ We can schedule a consult with a surgeon.

She believed she had missed her window.
That at 64, this was just maintenance mode.
Manage it. Hide it. Accept it.

But something in her said,
There has to be more than this.

She joined Urine Good Company.

Five months later:
😴 Sleeping through the night
🩲 No pads
🚽 Urgency under control
❤️ Intimacy without pain
💃 Walking confidently
❌ No surgery scheduled
😌 “I didn’t think this was possible at my age.”

She didn’t need to brace for decline.
She didn’t need to squeeze harder.
She didn’t need to accept 20 years as permanent.

She needed education.
She needed nervous system regulation.
She needed to learn how to manage pressure, coordination, and tissue support in the right order.

She wasn’t too old.
She wasn’t too far gone.
Her body was waiting for the right strategy.

I don’t know when stories like this will stop stunning me. Twenty years in pads and no one taught her this.

If you’re reading this thinking,
I’ve been dealing with this for years…
