Our Story
I'm a passionate real food advocate and culinary educator who's been teaching others how to live/eat well and organically since 2007. Your family doesn't have to be named Rockefeller to afford good, organic food! I bust the "not on my budget" myth by sharing my experiences as a savvy-shopping, creative-cooking parent of well-fed twins. I specialize in meal planning, sourcing seasonal food, pantry must-haves, coupon hunting, budget tips, identifying good (and bad) grocery deals plus share my easy, high-nutrition, low-cost, family-friendly recipes. I've been featured in and contributed to many publications (including Georgia Magazine, Living in Atlanta, Atlanta Now, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, AOL news, and the Atlanta Business Chronicle) and am a speaker at regional and national conferences. I've taught culinary classes at the University of Knoxville's Culinary Institute, the Wylde Center (ATL), and at farmer’s markets in the Southeast (as part of an Eat Local initiative). My on-air cooking demos can be seen on WATE/ABC and also on FOX5.
