We are home as of 2:00am this morning!!! Sandals rented a chartered 777 plane to take 377 of their guests stranded in Jamaica to Miami yesterday morning!!! Guests were having flight after flight canceled & they went above & beyond to make sure everyone had a safe option to get back to the US. It may have taken longer than expected yesterday, but considering all factors (other than being exhausted) we gave no complaints. Thank you to all of my wonderful clients who have reached out to check on us & our youngest daughter who was holding down the fort at home. We are truly blessed & greatly appreciate all the concern. We were fortunate to make some new friends who went through this journey w/ us & made this trying time a little easier. Jamaica is a remarkable country & is absolutely devastated, but fortunately none of the Sandals employees lost any family. Some did lose their homes & are in a very difficult situation, but you couldn’t tell by the smiles on their faces. They were grateful for life & said homes can be rebuilt. We are forever changed by this & will always be devoted Sandals guests.
I’m taking today recover & will return to work tomorrow. I will be reaching out to reschedule my clients who were canceled due to our extended stay in the next few days. Thanks again for all the support & prayers, but please continue to pray for our Jamaican family 💚
