Massage therapy is my calling. Iโ€™m so grateful I get to help people heal in such a personal and beautiful way. Massage is an art Iโ€™m drawn to, a gift we all hope to find. I've been practicing massage therapy since 2010 in spa and medical settings. My technique is intuitive and mindful. It blends deep tissue, trigger point, neuromuscular and swedish techniques to maximize therapeutic outcomes. I love problem solving ways to heal chronic pain, repetitive use injuries and trauma. My style of massage allows the nervous system to take a deep breath and welcome positive change. I have a background in occupational therapy working with people recovering from joint replacements, orthopedic injuries and soft tissue damage. This experience allows me to create a successful treatment plan to address pain and stress.

I was born here in the PNW and love to explore all it has to offer. I love to go hiking, walking, paddle boarding and road tripping the most! I also enjoy cooking and spending time with loved ones. Youโ€™ll find me taking pictures of sunsets, caring for my plants and coming up with a new overnight oats recipe every week.

๐ŸคšWho else has to resist cynical eye rolling whenever they hear someone suggest you begin "setting your intentions" in order to "manifest your desires"? Soooo, hippy-dippy! Right?!?

Well, maybe not. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Setting intentions DOES actually help us define our goals, focus our attention, direct our energy, and ultimately, be far more likely to actually achieve our goals. Whether it's in the form of vision boards, or journal entries, or personal mantras, or just saying it aloud to our accountability buddy, intention setting is a valuable first step toward real success.

But here is a pro tip I've shared time and again with folks who are trying to escape the never ending cycle of chronic pain, daily stress, or constant fatigue โžก When setting your intentions, focus on How. You. Want. To. Feel. rather than focusing on just another new 'thing' you want to 'do.'

๐ŸšซNot, 'I oughta do yoga every day and get more bendy.'

๐ŸŒŸBut instead, 'I want to keep enjoying [insert your fave activity here] well into my 70's and beyond, so I'm going to get in the habit of doing at least 10 minutes of yoga every day.'

And this trick works just as well for short term goals, too. So, maybe give it a whirl and try setting your feel good intention for the week ahead.

๐Ÿ’™ Fridays in Eastlake at The Pelvic Health Clinic (across from Rogers Playground)

๐Ÿš• Yes, I am still doing Seattle home visits, but only on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
