The Sumner Public Library now offers a community food pantry available to anyone in need. Stop by during regular library hours to pick up food items and household essentials—no questions asked. Our goal is to help support our neighbors and ensure everyone has access to the basics. Donations are always welcome!

We have had one resident test positive, extending our "outbreak" status.

Update 11/04/2025
Some residents are beginning to come out of their rooms after recovering from COVID. We continue to have enhanced sanitation efforts.

We continue to work together during this outbreak and are thankful for those of you who have reached out and sent well wishes.
We have had to postpone trick or treating to a date TBD.
Small group activities and 1:1 activities with residents are continuing.

Update 436pm 10/27/25
We have COVID in all levels of care. Your office staff may not have regular hours as we are working many different shifts to cover. Our staff at Hillcrest is amazing with so many people willing to do more during this time. If you have any time that you would like to volunteer we are taking volunteers to sit with residents, play games, sanitize hand rails, stock masks, and just help out. Please contact Karen.smith@hillcrestsumner.com to volunteer.
Also if you have any COVID testing supplies we would be grateful.

We have 6 COVID positive residents on campus. 4 in NH and 2 in the Assisted Living.

Its cold, flu, and covid season. If you're sick please don't visit!
We have one unconfirmed case of Covid and are taking all appropriate measures per our policies.

Do you have a smartphone you are no longer using? We can give them a new purpose! All we need is for you to have them unlocked. We will factory reset and use them with our call light system.
