On May 7, SBHS staff attended the 2026 Sumter Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast. Member of the Sumter Community gathered for a morning of reflection, prayer, and unity.
The keynote speaker, Chris Singleton, a former professional athlete who was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 2017. After the tragic loss of his mother in a racially motivated mass shooting in Charleston SC, Chris has become an inspirational speaker and best-selling author. Sumter Native and Americal Idol contestant Tianna Roberts gave us beautiful rendition of the Lords Prayer.
