🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day from our ABA family! 🌈

We had such a fun and festive day at the clinic! Our amazing BCBA surprised the team and kiddos with a beautiful table full of rainbow-themed goodies—such a sweet and thoughtful way to celebrate together! 💚

A special shoutout to our talented behavioral therapist, Samantha Poling, for creating the festive banner that added the perfect touch of St. Paddy’s spirit to our space! 🍀✨

Our kiddos also got creative with a hands-on craft, making colorful rainbows using construction paper and paper plates. It was wonderful to see their creativity shine while working on important skills through play! 🌈

We’re so lucky to share these joyful moments together—wishing everyone a day full of luck, smiles, and a little extra magic! 🍀💛

This week’s Employee Spotlight is Carleigh! Carleigh has been with us for a little over a year, and she brings so much life and energy to our team. She is always spunky, positive, and ready to make every moment engaging for the kids she works with. Her clients absolutely love her enthusiasm and the high energy she brings each day.

Today is a perfect example of how Carleigh goes above and beyond. During our daily Peer Play session—where groups of kids participate in structured activities like board games and group play to build social skills—Carleigh took the lead and turned the room into a series of interactive game stations.

The activities included a scavenger hunt for wooden ABC letters to work on letter identification, followed by a bowling station where the kids could continue practicing turn-taking, teamwork, and engagement. Her creative setup kept everyone involved, active, and most importantly—having fun while learning.

We are so grateful to have Carleigh on our team and appreciate the joy, creativity, and dedication she brings to our kids every day. 💙

🌸🦋 Spring is in the air at ABCs of Behavior! 🦋🌸

With these beautiful 80° days, our clinic is definitely feeling the spring spirit! This week our kiddos have been enjoying plenty of time outside playing, and during circle time we’ve been busy creating a fun spring craft—these colorful butterflies.

While making our butterflies, we worked on skills like:
✂️ Cutting – strengthening fine motor skills
🎨 Coloring – practicing proper grasp and control of crayons and markers
🖍 Gluing and assembling – following steps and completing a sequence of tasks

Each child receives support based on their needs, whether that’s hand-over-hand assistance or verbal prompts, helping them successfully complete each step. By the end, they’ve created something fun while practicing important developmental skills! 🦋

ABCs of Behavior is owned and operated by Leslie Grenville, BCBA, and we’ve proudly been serving our community since February 2023. We specialize in providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children with autism, focusing on individualized, compassionate, and evidence-based care.

✨ Our name, ABCs of Behavior, is inspired by the fundamentals of ABA: Antecedent, Behavior, and Consequence. This framework helps us understand what happens before a behavior, what the behavior looks like, and what happens after.
