Celebrate Recovery of Sumter SC A faith based 12 step program to help with issues like drugs, alcohol, relationships, smoking, anger We meet every Friday night.

Celebrate Recovery is a 12 Step faith based program for help with addictions such as drugs, alcohol, relationship issues, smoking, anger, codependency, food addictions, sexual addictions, esteem issues, and more. This is a safe environment and all information shared in meetings is confidential. Dinner is from 6pm to 7pm ($5 food donation is requested); a large group meeting is held from 7pm to 8pm; and then we break into small discussion groups pertaining to individual issues.

I never take my recovery for granted. I've seen too many slip over the years after getting lazy. The Big Book of AA calls alcoholism, cunning, baffling, insidious. It's true too. "It" waits.
So Sam and I are still careful of situations. And even now after so many years, she'll ask if I'm going to a recovery meeting. I've seen strong people die from their addictions. I've seen others thinking there was no way out except to end that life.
That's why I want to make sure you come next Friday night to hear the testimony of my friend, Patricia. She gets it. She understands addiction. I encourage you to be there.
