We are looking for TWO full time Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) to join our family at Magnolia Family Practice. Experience in a physician’s office is preferred, but we will consider training a highly motivated new graduate. Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR is preferred.

Qualified candidates must be:
• Professional
• Dependable
• Courteous
• Personable
• Able to multi-task
• Able to perform under the pressure of a high-volume office
• Able to deal with the stress of differing and sometimes demanding personalities of co-workers, patients, and their families
• Able to assist with lifting and/or moving patients
• Able to lift supplies and equipment up to 20 lbs
• Able to reach, stoop, bend, kneel, and crouch at times
Required qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a Medical Assisting Program through an accredited college with hands-on clinical training
• Credentialed through one of the following certification entities:
o Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
o Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
o If not certified through the AAMA or AMT, then other certifications MAY be considered, including:
 Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcare Association (NHA)
 National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCTT)
• Current CPR certification
