Research suggests that higher levels of Vitamin K, particularly the MK-4 form found in the brain, are linked to a 17 to 20 percent lower risk of dementia and mild cognitive impairment.

Here are some of the top ways I recommend getting Vitamin K: eat more leafy greens, include fermented foods like natto, and consider high-quality supplementation if needed.

New research is challenging the widespread use of antidepressants in dementia care.

A large study found that certain SSRIs were linked to faster cognitive decline, along with higher risks of fractures and death—even at moderate doses.
Emotional support is essential, but we may need to rethink how we provide it, especially for those most vulnerable.
