Avista Sun City West is purpose-built to serve those with Dementia, Alzheimer's, & memory loss

Avista Sun City West is a dedicated Memory Care community serving the residents of Sun City West and its surrounding areas. Our three separate cottages have 16 apartments each, giving them a smaller neighborhood feel with more personal care. With activity rooms, outdoor pathways, and amazing dining and living spaces, every day is a new adventure!

What an incredible evening celebrating creativity, community, and connection! Our residents had such a wonderful time strolling through the Art Walk and admiring the beautiful work of the talented artists from the Sun City West Photography Club 📸✨

The night was made even more special with a beautiful live performance from a harpist, filling the air with calming, elegant music that perfectly matched the artistic atmosphere. 🎶💫

✨ Family Night Fun at Avista Sun City West ✨

We had such a wonderful time at our Family Night! Our residents were all smiles while enjoying delicious root beer floats generously provided by Suncrest Hospice 🥤🍦—thank you for bringing the sweetness and joy to our evening!

A special shoutout as well to DJ Cowboy, who kept the party going with fantastic music and entertainment. 🎶🤠 The dance floor was lively, and our residents had an absolute blast!

We are so grateful for the laughter, music, and memories shared. Thank you to everyone who helped make this night so special for our community!

Today we’re celebrating Myron, our incredible Maintenance Director here at Avista Sun City West. For over four years, Myron has poured his heart into this community—treating every resident like family and going above and beyond every single day.

Whether he’s fixing something before anyone even notices it’s broken or sharing a kind word and a smile in the hallway, Myron is the kind of person who makes this place feel like home. 🛠️

🎆🇺🇸 Red, white, and yum! Our Fourth of July BBQ was a hit at Avista Sun City West! Residents enjoyed classic cookout favorites—hamburgers, hot dogs, and refreshing cold treats. Special thanks to Suncrest Hospice for sponsoring The Sweet Spot Ice Cream Truck and making the day even sweeter! 🍦❤️💙
