Who needs a florist when we’ve got this much talent in-house? 🌺 Our crafty ladies created gorgeous floral wreaths today, filling the room with laughter, creativity, and just enough glitter to mysteriously show up everywhere for the next week.

Cinco de Mayo at The Palms was a fiesta to remember! 🌮🎉

Our residents enjoyed a delicious spread of tacos, enchiladas, Tam’s famous pop-up nacho bar, and even fresh churros in the dining room. The celebration continued in the Auditorium with colorful fiesta décor, music, salsa tasting, and FOUR different flavors of margaritas. 🍹💃

Let’s just say… after the fourth margarita flavor, everyone suddenly became an expert salsa critic. 😄

At The Palms, we are continually reminded that some of the most extraordinary lives are nestled quietly among us.

This week, we had the privilege of hearing from Mary Ross Smith — author, storyteller, and true survivor. In sharing her remarkable journey, Mary spoke with honesty, courage, and grace about a life shaped by hardship, resilience, and an unwavering will to rise above circumstance. Her memoir, Soul Survivor, chronicles a childhood marked by abuse, identity struggles, and profound adversity, yet ultimately stands as a testament to strength, hope, and the human spirit’s ability to endure.

Her words moved us, humbled us, and reminded us that behind every face is a story... and sometimes, that story is nothing short of extraordinary.

We are honored to call "Little Mary" one of our own. Mary, thank you for trusting us with your story. The Palms is richer because you are part of our family.

Patrick McNally made the rounds at The Palms—and apparently brought extra energy with him. He started by serenading our Assisted Living residents, then headed to Happy Hour where singing turned into dancing, and dancing turned into “just one more song.” Patrick is one of our favorites at The Palms, and he proved exactly why again!

Friends, fresh air, and baseball—sounds like a perfect day to us. ⚾️❤️ Our residents had a fantastic time at the Arizona Diamondbacks game, sharing laughs, making memories, and enjoying the simple joy of being together. That’s what Stellar Living is all about.

We’re always serving up something new in Assisted Living—and this week, it was Tabletop Pickleball! 🏓

All the fun of the classic game, just a little closer to the table. Quick reflexes, friendly competition, and plenty of great rallies made this one an instant favorite. Safe to say… this game is a hit!

Good food is always better with great company—and today’s lunch outing to Wildflower Bread Company was all about friendship.
