Back in September, some enthusiastic high school students from Sunapee, along with their teacher Ms. Leslie, established a project partnership with some of our residents. The students wanted to hear personal stories from the residents themselves. This project took place once a month through December; the students would come to Sunapee Cove and interview them one-on-one. On January 6th, the residents were invited to SMHS for lunch with the students and to see the final results of their partnership. Everyone really enjoyed getting to know each other and forming these special friendships. We were very impressed with the students final work!

As 2025 comes to a close, we're thankful for the extraordinary individuals we have the privilege of knowing at the Cove. From the residents to the staff, family members, visiting nurses, performers, and volunteers. Thank you, and we wish you a happy and safe New Year's Eve; we will see you in 2026.

These incredibly talented dancers from the Dance Arts Academy in Sunapee truly inspired us with their magnificent performance of The Return of the Nutcracker. Our residents were deeply moved by this heartwarming holiday dance routine. Afterwards, the dancers kindly handed out handmade cards and candy to everyone.

Today's activity was a holiday tradition of frosting Christmas cookies, lots of frosting and sprinkles everywhere. We played lots of Christmas carols and even danced to them too. It was great reminiscing together. 🎄🎅🏻
