Sunbury had a surprise visitor, and this visitor certainly liked to "CLOWN" around... LOL! 🤡

Thank you, Johnny, for the unexpected visit! You certainly brighten 🌞 our day! Johnny can be found working hard on any given day at our neighboring business, Marlin's Sub Shop. Johnny brings smiles to everyone he meets, both in and out of costume 🤡!

When anxiety runs high and spirits are low, kindness is truly essential! Tori has shown her amazing kindness and courtesy time and again. She goes above and beyond to coach and support new hires and temporary workers, making them feel right at home. Tori’s kindness is such a treasure and really highlights her character, dedication, and lasting impact at our facility. With her contagious smile and uplifting attitude, she makes everyone feel welcome!

We are so excited to celebrate our Leading with Heart ❤️ nominee: Melody Kurrell!

Melody truly shines with her dedication to our residents. She goes the extra mile to ensure they feel happy and cared for, often bringing them special soaps and shampoos that she knows they love. It’s like she treats each resident as part of her own family! Her personal connections really set her apart, making her such a valuable part of our team. Plus, Mel is always there for her coworkers, ready to lend a helping hand and put in those extra hours when needed. She’s a wonderful example of what we all aspire to be in the workplace. Last Friday was such a blast! 🎃

Our residents and staff had an amazing time at the Fall festival organized by our fantastic activity department. We had a pumpkin patch, pumpkin decorating, and awesome vendors like Tharptown General Store & Pizzeria, Gigi's Sweet Treats, Stevies Light, Ashley's Knits, and more! Plus, there were fun fall games, a bake sale, and treats for everyone! A huge thank you to Masser's Farm for their generous donation of pumpkins!

This week's "Leading with Heart" nomination goes to Holly Bobkoskie! 🎉🎉

Holly is as sweet as the candy collection she keeps stocked for our staff!

Did we mention she's sweet? How about selfless? If you don't believe us, she recently found a new approach to a bedtime routine for one of our residents who has been having trouble sleeping. She stayed late, tucked her in, gave her a new stuffed animal, and turned on a sound machine in hopes that it would make her feel more at home. It worked like a charm!

Holly certainly leads with heart in this interaction, and it made one of our residents feel right at home.
