As the weather begins to change here are some ways you can support your body during the shift:

1. Slow down
These months sometimes feel jammed pack with check lists, errands, gatherings, etc. Make it a priority to slow down. Put time blocks into your calendar designating an afternoon of just being at home or something similar.

2. More rest
We are part of living beings that hibernate as a rhythm. Don’t forget that. This season is a time of hibernation. There is far less sunlight during the days. Make sure you’re giving the body the rest that it needs while vitamin d levels naturally drop during this time.

3. Natural, Holistic Vitamins and Minerals
Do not take synthetic, man made vitamins! Your body does not know what to do with these and in the end just rejects them. Instead use herbal remedies, tinctures, and Elderberry Syrup to support your body and it’s immune system.

4. Enjoy the sugar
Yes this time of year comes with a lot of added sugars. From Halloween to thanksgiving to Christmas and everything in between, candy and desserts are always at the forefront. Enjoy them RESPONSIBLY. Honor your body in the decisions you make for it. Added sugar can result in a decrease of immune system. Be mindful of this.
