We offer short-term rehabilitation, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy as well as long-term care. Nursing and Rehab at Mansion is a short-term rehabilitation and long-term care facility located in Sunbury, PA. Our four-star rated facility has the highest rating of any nursing home in a 25-mile range! The building housing the facility is indeed a mansion. Big, white, and with large pillars, it sits atop a hill and was originally built by a wealthy family, its first owner. In the 1960s, it was converted to a nursing home, but several features of the original mansion still remain. The kitchen, though updated, is the same as used by the original owners. Several rooms in the facility have fireplaces, and while they are no longer it use, they add a bit of old-world charm to this warm and friendly facility. Most of the staff at Nursing and Rehab at Mansion lives locally, and work here for an average of ten years. When residents join us, they become part of the family. The residents at Nursing & Rehabilitation at The Mansion enjoyed a week of Farm Show fun! We had a great time tuning into live broadcasts, viewing photos, playing Farm Bingo, and concluded the week with Happy Hour featuring “Purple Cow Floats”.

"Christmas is the season to ignite the flame of compassion, to share hope with those who feel forgotten, and to remind ourselves that every heart can be touched with love. My favorite day of the year is to be able to see the smiles brought to the faces of the residents we care for. This day is always magical because of the love shown by coworkers, families, and our local community to allow us to surprise everyone with a special gift of exactly what they asked for" states Faith.

Meet.... Valerie Reader, RN@ Nursing & Rehabilitation at The Mansion,a dedicated professional with 27 years of service at the Mansion, having held various roles including DON, ADON, and currently Nursing Supervisor. Val is married to Matt Reader, and they share four children together: Nicole, Brooke, Isabella, and Charlie. They are also proud grandparents of a Granddaughter Ivory. In her free time, Val enjoys traveling, hiking, antiquing, and spending time with family and friends.
