Our four-star rated facility has the highest rating of any nursing home in a 25-mile range! The building housing the facility is indeed a mansion. Big, white, and with large pillars, it sits atop a hill and was originally built by a wealthy family, its first owner. In the 1960s, it was converted to a nursing home, but several features of the original mansion still remain. The kitchen, though updated, is the same as used by the original owners. Several rooms in the facility have fireplaces, and while they are no longer it use, they add a bit of old-world charm to this warm and friendly facility. Most of the staff at Nursing and Rehab at Mansion lives locally, and work here for an average of ten years. When residents join us, they become part of the family.
