Tis’ the season and time of the year to stop and reflect on all that was accomplished (even if it was just surviving!) and the people that were by your side along the way.
So, right now, I would like to give THE BIGGEST shout out to Big Ben Pizzeria right next door for being the BEST neighbor!
Ben gave me my first “good luck” $20 bill before I opened my doors last year. It is signed by one of his daughters and framed along with my first $1.50 rubber duck sale.
He randomly pops in with a turkey sandwich or this super yummy garlicky, cheesy, bread thing.
Claudia will come in just to check on me to see how I’m doing. She always makes me laugh!
They never let me comp their girl’s studio fees when they come to play.
They happily let me “steal” their wifi.
And always indulge me if I come in asking for a random bucket, box, or extra plastic forks.
How do you properly thank someone who does so much for you but won’t let you pay them back?
Well, I bought 10 $10 gift cards (they couldn’t just hand me those for free like that cheesy, garlicky, bread thingy!!!) so I can pay them forward into the community and maybe get them a few more life long customers!
