Welcome to River Inn Adult Foster Care where families have a safe and healthy environment to place their loved ones where they continue to thrive when independent living is no longer viable.
Linda VanGansbeke RN, BSN (owner) while working with seniors in public health recognized the need for senior care in our community. Linda applied to become a licensed provider and opened her first AFC in 1984. In 1986 Linda had the existing building built to house 12 residents and in 1992 added an additional 8 rooms.
In 1996 Rhonda Thompson joined the team at RI as Dietary Coordinator. In 2001 became supervisor and in 2011 was promoted to Administrator. Rhonda loves the opportunity to work with the families that seek a special place for their loved one.
To say the team of Direct Care Staff go above and beyond is an understatement. Each member of the team has something special that they bring to taking care of our extended family of residents. They work tirelessly to provide both a safe and a nurturing environment for the residents.
