The Veterans Affairs defines PTSD as"the development of characteristic and persistent symptoms along with difficulty functioning after exposure to a life-threatening experience or to an event that either involves a threat to life or serious injury."
In addition to military combat, PTSD can result from the experience or witnessing of a terrorist attack, violent crime and abuse, natural disasters, serious accidents, or violent personal assaults.

🫰6 weeks postpartum flew by and this was the week I officially came back from maternity leave 🤱

Though I wish I could take another month or 2 it's just not feasible this time around . . . Buuuuuut the beauty of private practice is FLEXIBILITY and thanks to that I am able to make a slow and gradual return to see all my clients.

Thankful for the ups, grateful for the downs, a supportive community and all the committed, admirable and resilient folks I get to work with through my private practice.

Yesterday marked the 5 year mark for Cóndor Center Inc.

Grateful for the lessons so far and open to the ones yet to come.

Excited to keep moving my vision forward and expanding to Peru in the near future. Gracias a todos por su paciencia ✍️
