Super late posting this here but.... My sonshine achieved his Airline Transport Pilot license type CJ4 rating the highest rating a pilot can get.

He's also officially employed as a private pilot, flying a private jet.

Proud is an understatement and he's not even close to done!

I'm a day late, but....

3/20/3025 marks the spring equinox. A time of renewal, rebirth, new beginnings. It's the real new year! Plants and animals come out of hibernation beginning anew in this season.

It also marks our 2nd wedding anniversary! We purposely got married on the equinox as a symbol of our new beginning in the new year.

Two years later, we are even more in love than before. Our bond has strengthened even more, our dreams and goals are coming to be, its just more...laughs, love, fun, discovery, growth, purpose, expansion, protection, learning, spiritual growth. I still miss you when we're apart, even for an hour.

I can't wait to see what the future holds for us!
No matter what it is, we'll be together. You are everything and more i have ever wanted in a partner. We are building a marriage and family that is exactly what we envision.

Our wedding song is still perfect!
It's so amazing to be loved by you!

Day 2 of our 3 day juice cleanse. Nazir and Janae joined us this time, as well.

After the heavy holiday foods, we are ready to give our bodies a break.

Although this is a new year. It is not THE new year. January is in the winter season. Winter does not start the new year.

In the winter we are meant to rest, go within, reflect, plan for the actual new year, which is March 20th. The spring equinox.

Side note: That's the reason we chose to get married on the spring equinox because it signals new beginnings.

In nature the animals hibernate during this time and come out in Spring time.

This is why "new years resolutions" don't stick past February.

If you are feeling like you want to hibernate during this time. Do it! Rest, reflect, plan for your new year when the sun is warm on your skin and the birds are chirping and the flowers and leaves are blooming again.

Go within during this time so you can bloom in the spring!

This fast helps our body clear out the old energy, help us stay clear as we rest, reflect, go within, meditate and plan for iur new beginning in the spring.

I wanted to find a way to have a healthier version of fruit snacks that wasn't store bought. So I found a recipe!!

Ingredients:
Fresh pineapple
Fresh carrots
handful of blueberries
Good quality maple syrup
Agar agar powder(non animal product gelatin)

They came out great, and we're simple to make.
My only criticism would be that it doesn't have that chewy, gummy "fruit snack" mouth feel. However it really tastes fresh, you can tell it's made with fresh fruit.

It's almost 3 pm and this is my first meal of the day. I decided to have a longer fast today.
In my yogurt bowl, I have non dairy yogurt, chia seeds, h**p seeds, sprouted pumpkin seeds, ancient grains granola, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, golden kiwi, blackberries and blueberries. After the meal, I will have some peppermint tea to help digestion.
