This week StevenDouglas is celebrating something truly special, the 20th anniversary of Matt Shore ’s dedication, leadership, and impact on our firm. Not sure that words can capture how special Matt is and how impactful he has been to the growth and success of StevenDouglas.
Over the past two decades, he hasn’t just shown up to do his job each day, he has built this company piece by piece. Matt has helped grow the business, shape its direction, and positively change so many of our lives. His vision, discipline, and consistency are a big part of why this organization is what it is today.
But what stands out the most isn’t just the growth that our firm has seen under his guidance, it’s how Matt has led by example along the way. He is someone who genuinely cares about his people and doesn’t just speak the words but is a man of action. He always takes the time to listen, mentor, support & coach people when they need it the most. He celebrates our wins, stands by us through challenges, and makes people feel valued and appreciated. His leadership creates more than results, it builds trust, loyalty, and a culture people want to be part of.
And through it all, he always does the right thing - even when it’s hard and no one is watching. Matt’s integrity isn’t situational, it’s who he is. Matt does not believe in taking shortcuts and would never compromise his values. In today’s world that is rare, and it’s something that we all respect more than we can say.
Matt, we all see the long days, the pressure, the responsibility you carry for/with us and still, you show up for all of us with strength, humility, and purpose. Yes, our business has grown, and many people have been an important part of that growth, but you have also lifted people up along the way.
Congratulations on 20 incredible years with StevenDouglas. You deserve every bit of this recognition and just know we would never be where we are today without you. YOU have made all of us better just by being you!
