😀. We all know regular exercise is one of the most effective ways to achieve fitness goals, whether it's losing weight, building muscle, or improving overall health.

But do you know what each exercise is for? How important tracking your progress is and how having an exercise program is incredibly important to actually progress...?

Big box gyms are great if you have the time to wait for the dumbbells, or the bench, or the rack....and know what you're doing. But if you are a beginner in the strength and conditioning world we suggest you start small and with a coach that will hold your hand and teach what to do and how to do it.

Not only will it avoid injuries but also help you get results.

Whatever fitness and nutrition journey you decide to do. You have to love it!❤️

If you love Zumba, awesome do it. If you love Yoga, great. What's most important, is for you to move your body constantly and have something you can stick to.

Off course we are not gonna lie, if you want to change your body composition, we would suggest adding some strength training...

But in this post, my purpose is to get you moving and to start doing exercise.
Whatever you pick, make sure you enjoy it! You look forward to going and crushing that workout.

In your nutrition journey, I can only suggest you stick to a balanced diet. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a balance of protein, carbs, and fat. Never forget your protein in every meal.

Keto, just because everyone is doing it, doesn't mean it may be the best one for you.

Don't pick any diet or try many, pick a lifestyle, something you can stick to!

Stephanie is our young, incredible, traveling nurse that just recently got married. Big congrats on her new journey!🥳

She came to us wanting to learn how to lift weights correctly and safely. She had no experience and was a bit nervous at first, as it was her first time stepping into a weight training gym.

Do you stress about food?

🍕Are you scared that eating pizza or any "bad" food will get you fat? So you restrict everything... especially carbs?

🍕Stressing about the pizza is going to be worst than actually eating the pizza! Feeling guilty about eating that pizza is going to increase your stress level. And we all know what stress does to our bodies...

🍕If you are looking to lose weight, controlling stress is just as important as what you eat.

🍕Have the pizza and know that it may cause you some inflammation, and that it may set you back a bit on your goal.

🍕If you want it, have it, acknowledge that it happened and move on. You will not get fat because you had pizza.

🍕But if you go through a cycle that happens a lot, take a step back and think about why it's happening. What would you do next?
Don't let that 1 mistake be 2 mistakes, be 3 mistakes, be 4 mistakes. Enjoy that 1 thing and then continue eating more nutrient-dense foods after.

🍕Build your foundation - great sleep, eating 80% good, eating enough, managing stress, drinking water, moving, exercising.

Our awesome client joined One Metabolic Method in search of a sustainable nutrition plan. A sustainable lifestyle.

A busy young working lady in search of a health plan that would work around her busy schedule.
Going through many restrictive diets in the past and seeing some to no results was frustrating.
A kind of roller coaster diet.

Now she is super happy that she can eat the foods she loves and doesn't feel restricted.
She has lost over 10 lbs of fat and gained 5 lbs of muscle 💪 Still going strong everyday! Stay the course you got this!

Extreme calorie restriction or food group restriction is a setup for failure in the long run.
She has created her training schedule to come to the gym during her off hours, about 3 times a week, adding an extra 15-20 mins of cardio to get that heart going.

About 4 months ago our incredible client Nahuel, a dad and a busy business-man came to us looking for a better lifestyle.

Felt he needed more strength and energy. He felt age was taking over his body and wanted to feel healthy.

We are already 2 months into 2023!

You know if you could just do 6 months of complete focus and alignment with your goals, it can put you 5 years ahead in life.

💪Don’t underestimate the power of consistency!

On new years people told themselves that they would do “X Y Z”

Studies show that..
80% quit on what they said by February..
And only 8% actually follow through for the whole year.

So from this point on..
Start doing the things you know you need to be doing.
➖Stop diet - hoping and commit to one.
➖Recommit.
➖Refocus.
➖Stay Consistent!
Finish this year better and stronger than ever before.💪

❔So what would it be like if you didn't worry about your weight anymore?

😁What would you do for yourself if your goal was to, feel great every day or have more energy?

Shifting your goal to something tangible, something you can see, feel and touch may be just what you need to get the results you're looking for.

Some ideas:

✔️Your Health - Choose a diet plan that helps build your metabolism. Choosing foods that make you feel more energetic, and happy, and even help you sleep.

✔️Your Performance - Why not focus on what you want to accomplish rather than what your scale is telling you? Maybe you want to be able to walk for an hour instead of 10mins or maybe you want to be able to do a chin-up! Think of things you'd like to do better and set your goals accordingly.

✔️Your Satisfaction - Don't you feel good when you finish a good workout or eat fruit salad instead of cheesecake? Focus on how you feel when you make different choices throughout the day. Doing more of the things that make you feel good makes it easier to keep doing them day after day.

We do believe the scale is great to give us data but there are many different ways to measure progress and the scale is not the only one.

Improvement is and should be a continual process.

Setting goals should be not only be done in New Year but throughout your life.

One of my goals- Walk 8000 steps every day and once you get there reach 10,000.
That is how we progress and improve!

We don’t stop when we get to 8000 we continue to get better.

Don't save your goals for New Year but set them every day, every week, every month, and every year.

Big goals, small goals... and whatever they may be always remember to keep them simple. They will help you to make them happen.

Small goals = Big results! 💪

Do you enjoy your food?🍉🥑

If there was one piece of advice we could give you to make your diet successful, it would be to make sure that you enjoy the food that you’re eating.

It seems like crazy advice doesn’t it? Almost a given?

But, time and time again, we see people embarking on their fat loss journeys completely removing all the joy from their nutrition.

You don’t need to eat chicken and broccoli or salad with chcicken breast to achieve results.
This will likely hold you back and maybe even go back to old habits and bing away.

➖The key to success is consistency
➖The key to consistency is adherence
➖What’s the key to adherence?
➖Satisfaction!

If you hate every mouthful of every meal you aren’t going to stick with it.
➖Make it interesting
➖Make it enjoyable
➖Make it something you can follow consistently for the long term.

Build the body you love with good, nutrient-dense foods YOU love.

Make your efforts last forever. Agree? See you at the gym! 💪

If you have enjoyable, nutrient dense foods 90% of the time... you get to have marshmallows.

You need to get stuck on the process.

➖Be process-focused, not product-focused.

Because if you are so obsessed with the product and you're not stuck on the process, then you are always going to be disappointed that you don't look the way you want to look YET.

You are missing the whole point of the journey.

😀Enjoy the process.

➖You will spend more time on the process than on the actual goal.

Enjoy watching your body transform over time.

You'll get to where you want to be eventually when your body is ready to get there.

Results will come, we can pinky promise you that, BUT only if you are consistent and know how to be patient!

Building sustainable habits slowly will work better and will keep you losing weight/fat longer.
