A couple days ago Boomer and I went on a little adventure to one of our favorite places in the world. Lake Superior.

So peaceful, we find ourselves bonding in the elements.

Ice is incredibly gorgeous and ever changing. This part of the lake will be completely different next week.

As we all will be changing. Give yourself grace as you change and adapt. It's part of life. Melt away and reform.

I got mushroomed at in Superior for their solstice celebration. I had to dip but I am thinking about going back to get some of the beef stew!

If you are in the area, I highly recommend going to check it out it was so fun and it goes until 8pm.

Now I know what it's like to be on the other side. I am usually behind a booth. I got a ton of loot!!!

This fall we found some porcini in the pines then went to the grocery store and found some giant shallots. I sliced em thick and seared them and added some jus from the steaks to give them a little boost. Probably the best meal I had all year. Foraging your food is medicinal.
