It’s Volunteer Appreciation Week, and we wanted to pause and say a massive thank you to the wonderful volunteers who serve as the heart of Brodstone. Your passion and hard work truly elevate everything we do.

We also want to give a special shout-out to our incredible Nifty Thrifty team! Your dedication directly supports our mission and allows us to keep serving our community. We are beyond grateful for your time and spirit.

We can’t wait to celebrate all of you this Friday at the volunteer luncheon hosted by the Brodstone Foundation. From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for everything!

This upcoming meeting, "How to Snack + Much More!", will be presented by Sue Guilkey, RN. It’s a great opportunity to learn practical tips for healthy snacking and managing your wellness.

This meeting is particularly meaningful as we celebrate and thank Sue Guilkey for her 14 years of dedicated service as a diabetic educator to Brodstone Healthcare. While Sue has served as the Diabetic Educator for 14 years, Sue has also worked at Brodstone as an RN, BSN for 40 years!Her expertise and compassion have made a lasting impact on our community, and we are so grateful for her commitment over the years.

During the session, Sue will also introduce the healthcare professional who will be taking over the support group moving forward. Please come out to show your appreciation for Sue and meet the new face of the program!

Big changes are coming to Medicaid, and Brodstone Healthcare wants to make sure you're prepared. New work and community engagement requirements are set to take effect soon, which may impact your coverage.

Medicaid is changing in Nebraska. Our state is moving ahead of schedule to become the first state in the country to implement new work requirements. With Nebraska’s enforcement set to begin May 1st, the Nebraska Hospital Association has launched a dedicated website to help residents navigate these changes and maintain their health care coverage.

The new platform, MedicaidNebraska.com, provides clear, simple guidance in both English and Spanish to ensure current enrollees and new applicants understand the new verification requirements.

It’s important to take action now to understand what’s changing, who’s affected, and what you should do right now to stay covered.

Caring for our youngest patients requires specialized skills and quick thinking. This intensive course equips our nursing team with the core knowledge and evidence-based interventions needed to provide top-tier care during pediatric emergencies.

We’re thrilled to welcome the new uDR® 380i Pro Mobile X-ray to Brodstone Healthcare! While portable imaging is a staple of modern care, this new unit brings an upgrade in technology to our facility.

Its design makes it much easier for our team to maneuver into tight spaces, allowing us to bring high-quality diagnostic imaging directly to the bedside with more efficiency than ever before. We are proud to invest in better technology that enhances the patient experience and supports our radiology team.
