Every student in Nebraska should be taught the truth and intrinsic design of human life.
LB 213, introduced by Senator Holdcroft, would require the Nebraska State Board of Education to adopt science education standards for human embryology. This bill ensures that students receive scientific, factual instruction on when life begins, from fertilization through each stage of human development.
By providing students with accurate, standardized information in elementary, middle, and high school curricula and incorporating advanced 4D visual recordings, LB 213 will:
✅ Promote a culture of life by fostering a deeper understanding of the value and dignity of every human being from the moment of conception.
✅ Help address widespread misinformation about early human development. Studies show nearly 60% of Americans don’t know when human life begins.
✅ Strengthen science education and equip students with the knowledge to make informed, life-affirming decisions.
✅ Deepen understanding of related subjects, including anatomy, biology, reproduction, and ethics, through a comprehensive academic study of human embryology.
