BACK-TO-SCHOOL health tips and reminders:
🥦 Vitamins
Vitamins (like C, D, and A) help our immune cells work properly.
Think of them like fuel or tools your body needs to fight off germs.
We get them from healthy foods like fruits, veggies, and sunshine (for vitamin D!).
😴 Sleep
Sleep is when your body repairs itself.
While you sleep, your immune system builds up strength and makes more infection-fighting cells.
Not enough sleep = weaker defenses.
💧 Water
Water helps carry nutrients and get rid of waste in your body.
It keeps your nose and throat moist, which helps trap germs before they get into your body.
Staying hydrated means your immune system can work better and faster.
🧼 Washing Hands
Washing your hands removes germs before they enter your body.
It’s one of the easiest ways to stop getting sick or spreading illness to others.
Less germs = less work for your immune system!
💪 In short:
Taking care of your body with good food, rest, water, and cleanliness gives your immune system the support it needs to protect you from getting sick.
