💙 Today we celebrate National Caregivers Day and our gratitude could not be greater!

To our incredible, professional team of caregivers: THANK YOU for the patience, compassion, and consistency you bring into our client's homes every single day. 🫶 The work you do isn’t just a job, it’s trust, dignity, and support for families who depend on you. You show up in big ways and small ways, and it matters more than you know.

🌟 We also want to recognize the unpaid caregivers, the spouses, children, parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, and neighbors who quietly carry so much responsibility. The late nights. The advocacy. The appointments. The emotional strength. Much of what you do happens behind the scenes, and it often goes unseen but it is so deeply valued.

💓 Caregiving is hard work and it is heart work.
It requires resilience, empathy, and dedication. Today, we honor every single person who steps into that role both professionally or personally.

Thank you for the sacrifices you make, the love you give, and the lives you impact every day. 💙

💟Start the conversation sooner than later.

It can be so hard seeing your aging parent struggling with every day tasks. Sometimes it's even harder when you are unsure how to bring it up.

You are not alone. These conversations are hard, especially when independence matters so much. Supportive home care isn't about taking control, it's about helping parents stay safe, comfortable, and independent longer.

You might try starting with:
➡️ "What parts of the day feel hardest lately?"
➡️ "Would a little extra help make things easier?"
➡️ "How can we help you stay at home longer?"

We see clients thrive when these conversations are started early, before assisted living or memory care are needed. This often allows our clients and their families to get the full benefit of supportive home care.

💓You don't have to have all the answers, you just have to start the conversation.

🎄✨ This Christmas season, we’re feeling thankful. As we head into Christmas week, we’re reflecting on where it all began. ❤️

Traci and her mom, Pam, started Superior Helping Hands 25 years ago! While Pam has since retired, the heart and mission they built together continue to guide us as. We are grateful to serve the seniors and CLTS clients in our community, and we couldn’t do it without our amazing team of caregivers. Your kindness, dedication, and hard work mean everything to us!

We are happy that our team continues to grow, and we’re excited for what’s ahead- Staying rooted in what matters most: caring for people like family.

Caregiving doesn't pause for the holidays. If you know someone caring for a parent, spouse, or sibling, check in, offer support, or simply acknowledge their strength. A little kindness can mean everything!

Boo! 🎃👻🤖🤡 Tomorrow is Halloween and we are so looking forward to handing out treats to all who stop by our office for a visit! Trick or Treat hours for participating businesses at the Blaine Business Center are Noon- 3pm tomorrow!

The joy of the season has no age limit so as Halloween brings out the fun and festivities, let's not forget about our senior friends and neighbors! Including them, even with a simple stop by to say "hello", a costume visit, or a shared treat, can make their day brighter.✨ Connection is the sweetest treat of all. 🍬🍭

EXCITING NEWS!! 🎉🎉
Superior Helping Hands is growing our Team!!

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Helen Hase to a newly created role as the CLTS Care Coordinator for Superior Helping Hands!

Helen has worked as a caregiver with our agency for nearly three years. In that time, she has demonstrated the patience, compassion, and professionalism to be highly successful in this new role. Helen brings with her tremendous experience, both in her personal life, and in her career.

Helen is the mother of a child who was part of the COP program. She is able to relate to the unique and challenging needs of a child with specialized physical and emotional needs. She also understands the joy of seeing your child well cared for with the right support of their individual abilities. She is able to appreciate the relief that is provided to the family and primary caregivers when their child is in the care of a well-qualified and caring individual.

In her professional life, Helen worked as a Care Manager for Northern Bridges (now known as Inclusa). She also served participants of the IRIS long-term care program before retiring from full-time work. She has great appreciation for the accountability on the part of all parties to ensure program requirements are met and maintained.

✨✨Congratulations, Helen, on your promotion! Our entire team, our clients, and their families will benefit from the experience and passion you bring to this role. 💓
