🌿✨ Embrace the freedom of body and mind through the beautiful practice of yoga! 🧘‍♀️💫

Yoga has the incredible power to liberate us, not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. It is a harmonious dance between body and mind, allowing us to feel liberated and alive. Here's how yoga sets us free:

1️⃣ Physical Freedom: Through yoga, we learn to release tension and stiffness from our bodies. Each asana (pose) helps us stretch, strengthen, and improve our flexibility. As we flow through the sequences, we gradually unlock our body's limitations, enabling us to move with grace and ease. This newfound physical freedom allows us to experience the world in a more vibrant and energetic way.

2️⃣ Mental Liberation: Yoga is a sanctuary for our minds. As we focus on our breath and move through the poses, we enter a state of meditation and mindfulness. This allows us to let go of the worries, stresses, and distractions of daily life. We become fully present in the moment, freeing our minds from the burden of past regrets and future anxieties. Say yes to the things that make you happy. Now practice daily. Do you know what happens when you continue to fill up your cup…eventually you overflow. Join us this Friday for beach yoga to full up and overflow. June 30 at 7:30am (every Friday)

You’re welcome to stick around for a refreshing dip in the ocean. I can’t think of a better way to start Friday.

Wowza!! When I look back at the work we’ve done to I’m so grateful. There were many late nights and early morning. Now there are just a few. 🤣

Seriously though, I was so eager to move forward I’d wake up at 2am, 4am and head to building to make progress before heading home to wake up the kids for school.

We’ve come a long way and still have a little ways to go.

Can’t wait to see you tomorrow, Friday at 7:30am for class at FLOW.

We will not be flowing in the rain tomorrow (maybe later)

💔 This morning took a twist when I received a message that one of our yogis passed away. Robin Bloomfield! 💔

Tonight we’ll be honoring her, and holding space as we come together come together as community.

All of us has grieved, as some of us continue to greave. Come flow! It’s going to be a magical time. I’m breaking out the candles and singing bowls. (If you don’t it know what that is it’s okay)

You may have not known Robin, but she was a part of our community. Her positivity and smile was contagious.

The thing about community is that when something happens to one of us it happens to all of us. So let’s be in community.

I hope you can join me tonight for a magical flow.

“Even when things are difficult, you can still smile.”

I had a friend take yoga Friday morning, and when we were hanging out later on that day, she said that those words were on repeat all day.

You can do hard things, and you can smile while you do them.

Now why would you want to do that? Here are some scientific facts about what happens to the body when you smile.

1. Releases feel-good hormones: Smiling triggers the release of endorphins, dopamine, and serotonin, which are all hormones that make you feel happy and reduce stress.

2. Lowers stress: Smiling can also lower your cortisol levels, a hormone that produces stress.

3. Boosts immune system: Smiling can also boost your immune system by increasing the production of white blood cells, which helps fight off infections and diseases.

4. Reduces blood pressure: Smiling can help reduce blood pressure by relaxing the body and improving blood flow.

I know it’s early and the the to do’s, family, and work schedule has you busy…
