Forgiveness is a complicated word that evokes intense emotions. In the word forgiveness is the word “give,” to give someone something that evokes the feeling of being forgiven. If you have decided to forgive someone today, even yourself or you want to know how to start the journey to forgiveness, start with the word give. Start from a place of what can I give today? It may be small. It may just be grace, compassion for even a moment, a kind word working yourself all the way back up to the things that were lost when the offense happened. There are many reasons forgiveness needs to happen and so this caption is not about all the offenses that could possibly happen, but instead for each person to have a place to start for their situation!
