16 years ago my heart was born. My hardest birth and sweetest infant. You taught me to let go every step of the way. Nothing can be controlled. Let go you told me. With your birth, your Leukemia, our homeschooling, even your friggin potty training was a lesson to me. You have shaped my perspective, my life, my universe. I am madly, deeply in love with you and will always be. (Even when you annoy the s**t out of me). Happy birthday to my firstborn Ariel Leib.
