Dr. Edelita Remegoso-Jamis is a practicing Internal Medicine physician and also certified in Lifestyle Medicine. As a primary care physician, she knows how diabetes could become a gateway to other chronic diseases. So when she became diabetic at age 38, she knew that her health turned for the worse at the peak of her career. In 2017, she discovered that Lifestyle Medicine could reverse chronic diseases with a whole-food plant-based diet. Today, she's incorporating Lifestyle Medicine into her Internal Medicine practice. Lifestyle Medicine is an evidence-based lifestyle approach to prevent, treat, and oftentimes reverse lifestyle-related chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, gout, obesity, etc.
