I can’t say if this is my proudest moment or when I know I’ve hit rock bottom……my son just told me I was the best mom in the entire world!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
So let me set this up for. On Monday we had a “yes day” for those of you that don’t know what that is basically whatever our eight year old asked we had to say yes. So he dressed us, with clothes jewelry and even make up (I might post pics) but one of the things we did was went to the mall (trust me if you saw us you would know how mortified we were) anyways I digress. We went to the Lego store and my son wanted a $100 Lego. We agreed if he cleaned up the crafting area he could get it (some contingency on “yes day”) so he agreed and we bought the Lego set. It was a Halloween Lego set and it included a skeleton! He was obsessed with this skeleton…….like obsessed!!! Well fast forward to last night we are driving home and my son starting choking and then sounding like he’s going to throw up in the back of the car. I immediately ask him if he’s ok and he says he might throw up he doesn’t feel good. So I inquire why he doesn’t feel good……he starts crying hysterically and admits he had his skeleton in his mouth and the head shot off and went down his throat…….he was so sad and said he was trying to make himself throw up so he could get the head back.
He was literally HEARTBROKEN. His dad and I both took this opportunity to explain this is why we don’t put things in our mouth. But there was tears and sadness I had never seen before. He went to bed begging for his Skeleton saying he would do anything for it.
Well tonight when I got home I asked him if he pooped his skeleton out yet and he laughed and said “no mom, I haven’t pooped today” I was like well ok. Then just now he runs in my room and says “oooohhhhhh mommy I need to pooooooooooooooppppppppp!!!! When he’s done he asked me to see if I saw a Skeleton head I said I sure don’t……..grabbed some gloves and look what I found!!!! Hahahahahahahahha
Ps I had already bought a replacement on Amazon but this will be an experience he will remember for the rest of his life!!!
