Students will receive hands-on training and learn how to properly administer injections, take vital signs, record EKGs, implement basic accounting procedures, and understand the fundamentals of patient documentation. Mrs. Ray’s class learned vital Stop the Bleed skills that everyone should know! The goal of this training was to learn how to save lives by controlling severe bleeding that can result from accidents, injuries, or violence. Uncontrolled bleeding is the leading cause of death after trauma - but now, our students know how to recognize life-threatening bleeding, apply pressure, pack a wound, and use a tourniquet effectively. We are proud to say our students are now immediate responders - ready to act quickly when every second counts! ❤️
