Today we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in true Irish spirit—dressed in every shade of green we could find! 🍀
Our community gathered for a lively afternoon of trivia, laughter, and delicious treats. We enjoyed pistachio and mint chocolate chip ice cream, along with cookies and popcorn (because why not make it extra sweet?).
The trivia brought out everyone’s competitive side—we learned new facts, discovered our resident Irish experts, and even had some hilariously creative “senior citizen answers” that kept us all laughing. Winners took home full-size chocolate bars, making the victory even sweeter!
It was fun, a little silly, and definitely interesting. A perfect St. Patrick’s Day celebration—and one we’ll absolutely have to do again! 💚

Today was a special day for our community — Finn the therapy dog came to visit! 🐾

Pet therapy brings so much joy to our residents. Studies show that time with dogs can help lift spirits, reduce stress, and spark wonderful memories. For many of our residents, moments with Finn bring back sweet memories of the pets they once loved and cared for.

We are so grateful for our amazing volunteers who shares Finn with us. The smiles, laughter, and gentle moments of connection he brings are truly a blessing.

Sometimes the simplest moments are the most meaningful. ☕🍩

This Saturday we gathered for coffee, donuts, and sweet conversation, sharing stories from the week and enjoying the beautiful weather together.
We’re so grateful for these moments of friendship and fellowship. It’s a wonderful reminder that God blesses us in the small things — time together, laughter, and the gift of community.

It only took one person to light up the room this afternoon at happy hour. Soon people were smiling, clapping, and dancing. Funny how a little Neil Diamond can get into your heart and your bones and remind us that life is better when we share it together. 🎶

Moments like that bring joy, laughter, and a beautiful sense of community. Grateful for the music, the people, and the feeling that God is right there with us in it all.

Today’s craft was extra special because it was completed with the help of Caleb. We worked on a St. Patrick’s Day craft where we painted and proudly displayed our artwork.
While creating our clovers, we also learned something beautiful. The clover is often used to help explain the Trinity—God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Just like the clover has different leaves that are connected as one plant, the Trinity reminds us that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three persons but one God. It was a simple craft that turned into a meaningful moment of learning about faith and God’s love.

Today’s outing was full of laughs!🦞 🥩

Some residents were craving seafood, others wanted steak… so we headed to Red Lobster for the best of both worlds! A family member joined us, making the lunch even more special.
Between playful teasing, sharing stories, and reminding a few of them that we were in public (they were having a little too much fun playing with their food 😄), it turned into such a joyful afternoon.
We ended with dessert, where everyone sampled each other’s ice cream like a big family taste test.
It’s moments like these that remind us you’re never too old to laugh with friends, share memories, and enjoy the little things.

Today was one of those beautiful February days here in Arizona that reminds you how special simple moments can be. ☀️🌵
Our residents spent the afternoon outside soaking up the sunshine, doing a little gardening, pulling weeds, sharing refreshments, and simply enjoying each other’s company.
Today wasn’t about care levels or wheelchairs — it was about people being present, feeling the warmth of the sun, sharing stories, and enjoying a gorgeous day together.
Moments like these are what truly matter.

Celebrating Chinese New Year Together 🐉🧧
The Oasis came together to celebrate Chinese New Year by honoring traditions, learning about its meaning, and sharing the joy with one another. This special holiday reminds us of renewal, family, good fortune, and hope for the year ahead.
Residents enjoyed delicious Chinese food, traditional cookies, festive candies, and oranges 🍊— a symbol of good luck and prosperity. We even had a dragon join the celebration, representing strength and wisdom! Many residents wore red to bring good fortune and add to the festive spirit. ❤️
We love celebrating different cultures and continuing to learn and grow together as a community.

Today we had another sweet, unplanned moment of connection.
We walked our residents across the way to visit some old friends and were delighted to run into them right in the lobby! There were warm hugs, handshakes, and plenty of stories shared.
There’s something so beautiful about moments that come together naturally. Saturday lunches are becoming something everyone looks forward to — the word is spreading, and more friends are meeting us and joining in each week. We love seeing our community grow!

Today our residents enjoyed some time outdoors refreshing our circular planters after the recent rain brought in more weeds than usual. 🌱☀️
Everyone worked together pulling weeds, clearing leaves, and tidying up the plants. There were smiles all around as they soaked up the sunshine, enjoyed the fresh air, and felt proud of what they accomplished as a team. A beautiful day filled with teamwork, laughter, and a little gardening joy!
