Bible verse for the day!
Romans 1:16 ; inspires us ✨️ ✝️

*The gospel isn’t embarrassing — it’s God’s power to save anyone who believes* ❤️
The power is in the gospel, but it flows through belief , you don't have to perform. You have to trust.
God does saving when you do believing.
Same gospel same power, no one is too far or too religious,or too broken for it to work.
Its for everyone who believes!
Jesus was not ashamed to die for you publicly;
You don’t have to be ashamed to live for Him publicly.
The gospel of CHRIST;its God's power to save anyone who believes!
Amen 👏 Hallelujah praise God forever 🙌

Recovery: It's not just about stopping unhealthy habits. It's also about starting new healthy habits that lead to healing. Before you say "recovery isn't for me,", consider this:
▪ How is your prayer life?
▪ How is your relational and emotional life?
▪ How are your emotional and relational skills?
▪ How good of an active listener are you?
▪ Does anyone know about the skeletons in your closet?
▪ Does the image you project match who you are at home?
▪ Do you have any secret habits?
▪ How would someone close to you describe your character? Is it godly and consistent?
▪ When was the last time you confessed what is truly happening inside your soul to God? How about to another person?
▪ If you're a follower of Christ, how's your witness these days?
▪ What is your experience with forgiveness, reconciliation and trust? Do you habitually engage in these cornerstones of the faith or do you harbor resentments and bitterness?
If your answers are less than perfect, recovery is for you because we are all fallen sinners. We are all in need of a savior who is also lord over our lives. We all fall short and have desperate need for Christ. He is perfect, we are not.
God loved us first, and His grace covers it all. Because we are accepted, we willingly heed to Christ out of deep respect and love.
Join us at Celebrate Recovery at Church of the Good Shepherd Lebanon, PA every Wednesday at 6:30 pm at Church of the Good Shepherd, 1500 Quentin Road to start new habits that can deepen your walk with Christ in ways you never thought possible. It works if you work it, so work it, you're worth it.
