As the weather shifts, so do our routines, including our skincare.
This can include such things as taking more baths and using hotter water. Drinking an excessive amount of caffeine and not enough water.
Here are a few helpful tips,
Your skin is unique, and we're all different. Find what works BEST for you!
1) Keep your water temp warm instead of hot. Water that's too hot can be damaging and dehydrating to the skin
2) Swap out your cleanser especially if you're drier.
3) Switch to a richer moisturizer
4) Change your exfoliant to a more gentle exfoliant.
Skin becomes drier and more sensitive during the winter. You might think that exfoliation during winter would make your skin more dry but it's important to keep at it – just tone down the strength a bit to avoid potential irritation as your skin's sensitivity changes.
5) Use hydrating masks
6) Get a hand cream & cuticle oil
7) Don't forget about your lips. Invest in a lip mask.
8) Continue to use SPF
9) Get More Sleep
