I am very excited to announce we will be starting classes back up this week! We are offering a 1 hour Plyometrics class Friday at 4:30p.m. And a 30 min Cardio class Saturday morning at 8:30. These classes will be taught by PT Ryan Giffen.
BY DONATION - THIS WEEK ONLY (May 23rd and 24th) Following classes will be $5 for gym members and $8 for nonmembers.
What is Plyometrics? - Plyometrics are exercises that involve rapid stretching and contracting of muscles, typically through jumping or explosive movements, to enhance muscle power and speed. They are commonly used in sports training but can be beneficial for anyone looking to improve overall strength and power. These exercises can me modified to accommodate those needing lower impact.
What is Cardio? Cardio, short for cardiovascular exercise, is any activity that raises and sustains your heart rate for a prolonged period. It's also known as aerobic exercise or endurance training. During cardio, you'll breathe faster and deeper, and your blood vessels will expand to deliver more oxygen to your muscles. Cardio is a great way to start your day and get an energetic boost of endorphins.
