Johnson, MD is the Medical Director of the Vein Center of Johns Creek. He has been specializing in the treatment of varicose veins at the Vein Center since 2006. He attended medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his general surgery residency at the University of Florida. He then completed a fellowship at Duke University in minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Johnson is certified through the National Board of Medical Examiners and Federation of State Medical Boards, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery. He serves as Medical Director of the Atlanta General and Bariatric Surgery Center. In addition, he serves as Medical Director at Northside Forsyth Hospital and led Emory Johns Creek as the Chairman of the Department of Surgery.
