Athena and Kathy treated our residents to a wonderful day out to lunch at Sam Walker’s, followed by some sweet fun back home baking oatmeal cookies together. 🍪💛

The residents also celebrated Charlotte, one of our amazing volunteers, on her last day. Our residents made her a heartfelt card to thank her for all the joy she’s brought to our community!

Renee’s 100th birthday celebration was a huge success! 🎉🎂

A very big thank you to Renee’s cousin and Officer Mike Serino for helping organize such a special day, and to the Swampscott Fire Department and Swampscott Police Department for being part of this unforgettable celebration. And to the Swampscott elementary students who handmade 100 birthday cards for our beautiful resident! Renee is overjoyed by the outpouring of love! 🚔🚒

🎉 Its a surprise! 100th Birthday Celebration for a Bertram House Resident 🎉

🚓The local Police and Fire Departments will stop by for a mini parade to help us celebrate. 🚒 Meet up at the Swampscott Football field if you would like to participate! Drive through and beep your horn! Or come watch the police and fire trucks and help us honor a century of life and memories! 🎂🎈
