Had a great time sharing my story with the Salisbury Kiwanis Club! Thank you so much for the hospitality!
If your school, church, or business has an AED machine, make sure your pads and battery are up-to-date! We supply AEDs and replacement pads/batteries.
Our meeting 2 Fridays ago was extra special as a local Salisburian came to indulge us in the necessities and needs of AED’s and CPR training for businesses, churches schools and more. Henderson Lentz of Heartline Medical Supply and our speaker, shared an incredible and emotional experience that he went through during a high school basketball game. Henderson suffered a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and was without a pulse for 11 minutes. Thankfully, there were people attending who knew how to do CPR and use the AED on site. Henderson explained this surely gave him the best chance of survival. Lentz said “The response timing is everything.”
We are incredibly grateful for him, sharing his story and enlightening us on the needs of CPR training, the ease of use of an AED and everything in between.
