Spiritual Warfare is the cosmic conflict waged in the invisible, astral (metaphysical) and spiritual dimensions but it gets manifested and worked out here in the third dimensional visible physical world. It often will show up in your life as a conflict or personal battle. We see it on much larger scales in the world in physical wars and discord. Behind these disturbances, setbacks, issues we face lies a deeper spiritual root cause.

Join Jessica in this 2-part class as she delves into Spiritual Warfare from a Metaphysical Perspective and teaches you about these topics and offers inspiring and healing insight to using this guidance in your own life or practice to create shifts and more inner peace.

Jessica will discuss all things spiritual about The Inner Self. The inner self is divine, or perfectly one with infinite spirit in a supreme identity. As St. Thomas put it, if the eyeball were colored red, it couldn’t see red; but because it is clear or redless or colorless, it can see colors. Just so, because the inner self sees space, it is itself spaceless, or infinite; and because it sees time, it is itself timeless, or eternal. And this infinite and eternal self is the home of spirit in you and in each and every sentient being. The overall number of inner selves is but one. Every person feels exactly the way you do when he feels into his own witness or I AMness: Since the true self has no objects or qualities, it can’t be different in anybody; it is the same radiant divine shining in you and me and all of spirit’s creations.

Jessica will discuss and teach about this and then open up the circle to discussion and questions. It will be an inspiring and uplifting evening.

The alchemists' symbol is the athanor, the furnace.
A furnace is where things are transformed through fire, or heat. Alchemy involves turning things over, buffing them, burnishing them, rubbing and polishing them, improving, changing, and perfecting them until they are fully realized. The book is written, the house built, the concert performed, the painting completed, the Self realized. FIRE is the most ancient alchemical catalyst. Human Consciousness developed around campfires. Staring into a fire for hours on end leads to meditation. The earliest mystics used fire in their crafts. They were potters, smiths, cooks, and bakers. And like the process of self-realization, the working of pottery, glass-blowing, and forging and molding bronze and other metals all involve a number of stages. Such Inner work is an ongoing process. It involves the discovery and unfolding of an insight that is progressively wonderful and fulfilling.

Some light reading before bed lol 😂

I love the Tao Te Ching. This verse resonates with me. It is hard to be still when something stirs us up.

When you are puzzled at what you see, do not stare hard. Instead, relax your mind and get your inner self to feel the thing.

When you cannot figure out what you hear, do not struggle to listen. Rather, take a step back, and feel the vibration with a quiet mind.

Let go of trying and open your mind to receive.

When you allow your mind to receive, complication is given a chance to become simplicity; and the initial reaction can calm and settle. It gets you to see what you do not see and hear what you do not hear – moving you a step closer to your authentic self and it brings the present back to you, enabling you to know what is actually happening.

We make better choices for ourself this way. More mindful and less from a place of reaction and fear.

WISDOM NUGGET FROM REV JESSICA

The basis of all authentic healing is a shift in consciousness so powerful that it alters your mind, body, and soul. If one forces or attempts to shift consciousness without being prepared, it becomes difficult to integrate causing a destabilizing healing crisis. This results in sometimes feeling great at first, then not feeling so good, and not sustaining the long term change. We often feel called to heal on this Soul Level so how do we avoid this and be able to integrate healing to sustain long term changes?

Becoming ready for healing medicine is something we prepare for. We approach it by readying ourself to receive without attachment to the outcome. How do we detach? Through ritual and a spiritual devotion that resonates with you. Practicing it daily it will assist in the act of surrendering attachment, and allow the energy pathways to open to the greater grace that allows the miracle of healing in.
