Hi All!
Just wanted to update everyone asking:
Office is still closed per state law.
Sadly the protocols for close contact reopening are not realistic within a massage therapist's parameter.
Here's only two examples:
Gloves that are required to be worn dissolve in lotion or oil and do not cover elbows (for the deep tissue clients) and defeats the purpose of usage for protection.
Also, being contained in a room for an extended period of time without windows and circulating ventilation increases risk of virus spreading.
As much as I know many of you need a massage desperately (myself included!), my concern for your safety as individuals and your families (as well as my own) are top priority! I have discussed these issues over with several of my colleagues and many of us are feeling the same pressure and concern. We all are in uncharted waters for the first time in our careers. We want the best for everyone involved.
Hoping this message finds you all well and safe otherwise. I am continuing to do my due diligence on researching a suitable way to practice that is safe for all involved. Please continue to practice your at-home care and I will reach out once the status has changed.
Much Love, 💗
