Dear Massage Community,
Hearing the news that The Healing Arts Center has closed after so many years touches me deeply. The school was a part of our massage communities history, and so many students, teachers, and practitioners passed through those doors with hopes, dreams, and a love for this work.
The news feels very personal to us as our beloved Dr. Dan has taught for Tom for over 25 years. As a school owner for just under 30 years I understand how much time and care and heart goes into building a school and how many lives are changed along the way.
At the Body Therapy Center and School of Massage we’ve held space for students with that same spirt and my heart is hurting for them this morning.
I want to honor the contributions that The Healing Arts Center has made and to hold its students and teachers with deep
compassion as they navigate what comes next.
