Estrogen controls heat regulation, mood, and sleep. However, during perimenopause estrogen drops significantly, making it difficult to manage these bodily processes. ⁣

As you inhale, your heart rate rises slightly; as you exhale, it slows down. This natural rhythm—called Respiratory Sinus Arrhythmia (RSA)—is amplified by slow, controlled breaths, signaling your body to stay calm, even under stress.⁣
