Meet Lucy ✨🪡
Lucy’s path to acupuncture began as a Division I track & field athlete at UMass Amherst, where she competed in the javelin and hammer throw and developed a passion for recovery, injury prevention, and the body’s ability to heal. She later earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Nutrition and Sustainable Food & Farming from UMass Amherst and a Master’s in Acupuncture from MCPHS. During her training, she interned with the Family Medicine department at Boston Medical Center and coached throws at WPI, where the team won two championship titles.
Acupuncture also became part of Lucy’s own healing journey, helping her recover from plantar fasciitis and improve symptoms of PCOS and endometriosis. Today she practices Japanese style acupuncture, a gentle approach that uses fewer, smaller needles and focuses on personalized care to support healing, balance, and overall well-being.
