Bring in the plunger,
When your toilet is backed up and the smelly stuff is overflowing onto the floor and contaminating the residence, you can do nothing or do something fast
The first try is the plunger… That is where Swnsea residents find themselves this election year.
The selectboard has been so full of it these past so many years that it has overflowed into other departments including the police, the treasurer's office, conservation and of course the backup at the Water Department pipes brought it all to light.
On Monday, April 9th, the residents will go to polls and either stick the human plunger into the bowl and let it unclog what has been stinking up the town in the region for years, or just sit on it a little white longer until it pops even wider. Consider the pure clean facts.
Selectmen allowed for residents to be inundated with dirty water, health questions and property damage due to some of them doing business with former water department board members. Fact, the Selectman had options but they are too politically tied to do anything except defend the SWD against the residents whom they did not defend ( see village idiots” email obtained through FOIA) .
Selectmen have used the position to benefit their own interests or interests of those they associate with. No one else in town can get a 65 foot curb cut without a permit unless you are a selectman. Do you want justice and fair play ? Sorry you got “just ice” which Selectman Carreiro will see you on route 103.
Selectman ignored town employees using town time to defend the Desalination Project (See treasurer's office) while town employees regularly called down victims of dirty water and denied the obvious contaminations and dangers to the river and environment. Selectmen refused to investigate the cluster of Chiari Malformation brain damage birth defects around the area serviced by Well 7. Well 7, a heavily contaminated well, was used to cover the fact that the desalination plant was not working and able to fill the needs to the the town for water as promised. Well 7 has been deemed responsible for much fo the contaminated water which was mixed with cleaner water to make more. Selectmen have never recognized the health dangers to resident while downplaying their roles,
State and CPA reports and we ll as engineering reports state that the Desalination PLant never worked as stated and will never work as stated which was known from the beginning and covered up by board members and the town which included Selectmen at SWD.
Residents begged selectmen to help and were ignored while selectmen worked with SWD board members to develop real estate in town.
Town treasurer was the book keeper at SWD which was found to be without any revenue controls and any ability to audit the cash receipts versus cash deposits and no transparency. It was a swansea s**t show! (see audit report and be proud)
Selectmen have refused to investigate real estate deals involving treasurers' family and town bids.
Selectman have protected a planning board member currently charged with intimidating a witness after being seen driving on a resident’s lawn with his car to destroy political signs of a candidate now running for Selectman.
Quality of Life issues: Residents have no playground in the Ocean Grove area where most of the people live. Selectmen have no enforced water access routes like in Somerset so that the public can enjoy the waterways of the community rather than connected abutters. The town is constantly limited by projects which place financial interests over community interests or by the incompetence of those overseeing them. The Swansea Baseball field lights project is a perfect example of patheticness.
After the “I drink it( dirty water) everyday” Town Administrator passed due to health issues, the Selectmen did a nationwide search (wink winker) and brought in his associate from the next town over. Sounds legit.
Several town projects out to bid have somehow not had all bids considered. Sounds legit.
Qualified people asking to be placed on boards concerning town projects are ignored with applications disappearing (sounds legit)
Selectmen did a nationwide search for a police chief and ended up promoting from within. The candidate had been part of a famous police corruption case in 1998 when rogue Swansea police chased a black man going 79 miles an hour, through Somerset, Fall River and into Westport where upon raising his hands, was shot at more than 40 times. The case, cracked by this reporter in 1998, followed a false press release by Swansea Police Department about the very same incident. State Police, however, told the truth, not the blueth. Three Swansea officers resigned. The town paid a hefty settlement. The fourth cop, a rookie, (who may or may not have been the one who State Police said wet his pants that night) somehow kept his job. He was named chief by Selectman after a felony at the police department.
THe FELONY: Swansea Police released a sealed juvenile report to a man who had been convicted and served time for manslaughter, Noah Vincellete of Fall River. He had been identified to Fall RIver police in 2016 as a this reporter’s stalker due to the fact that this reporter was the only one to report on his vehicular homicide case which occurred in Attleboro. Swansea police had access to this information and a juvenile report was provided to Mr. Vincellete in order to discredit this reporter whom had just gotten out of 3 years of Family Court - two months prior - after a judge ruled numerous issues were baseless and that perjury had been admitted on the stand. Juvenile reports are never public to protect everyone involved, especially those with documented health issues. Police had already harassed reporter for reporting (see video). Swansea police and town officials had already been reported to the District Attorney for threats. When that didn't work, the reporter went to FBI. Children in town, who are the sons and daughters of enemies of the town thuggery must now worry the police department will ignore any clear fiction to inflict political harm using children to get at parents.
This has worked since 2016 when convicted Fall River Mayor Jasiel Correia used police to try and intimidate politicians(city councilors) and reporters in Fall River. The DA, does nothing about it and has still not not acted on the Swansea Police felony and it was his office which never charged the rogue Swansea cops in 1998. S**t often floats.
16. The Jasiel Connection. From a ma*****na deal investigated by the FEDS in Swansea to Selectman Christopher Carreiro being Jasiels Snow Owl attorney, do you think it is a coincidence that the morning, Sept. 6, 2019, Jasiel got first popped by the FBI, the reporter who first reported on his being in FBI eyes, got a knock at the door that afternoon by Swansea Police? Really? Who believes in coincidences like that? I mean not everyone can be as slow as the DA! So let’s get this straight. The same reporter who exposed Jasiel is saying that your Selectman Carreiro was his brain and they are pretty much the same. Except, Jasiel has more ethics in that I don’t think he would ever allow people to potentially poison Fall Riverites to open up more real estate? I think more of Jasiel than that!
The Real Swansea facebook Page. It is bad enough that Gannett owns the Herald News which only know enough about news to cover Swansea sports, but like Jasiel discovered in Fal River, if your thugs control facebook, you control the message. Imagine if the town page was not a political mouthpiece for the politicians. From the “Swansea News” to the pickleman, residents are constantly being punished to accept a lower standard of living and to expect the same. Victims fo dirty water were humiliated and made fun on this page constantly. Even this weekend, residents can find a chorus of people stating that the s**tshow of the books at the SWD is no big deal… Putin should recruit from them. It is so bad that when one of the moderators family members flipped their car over in a drive thru,people were not allowed to post it. They have allowed people to call others rapists with no evidence for truth or concern for any victims if they were real. It is a dirtiest neighborhood in town where bullies and the worst of Swansea control much of swansea's freedom. It takes a special kind of person to betray your friends, fellow residents ad while protect the few as they take from the many. You have to give credit to the old boy network of Swansea. They knew and know how to find the worst people to cover up the worst things you could ever do to your open town.
Vote on Monday for the many instead of those who are about parasitizing the whole for themselves.
