Employee spotlight:

Meet Laura! She is one of our LLPCs. She has such a kind heart and a great sense of humor. Her patience and fun spirit makes her the perfect choice for kids and adults alike. If she's not in her office, you can usually find her in the front going through the fidgets to find the perfect one for her next client, or maybe even herself!

Fun fact: Laura's favorite place to be is in her hammock or on the beach!

Laura's schedule is pretty full, but she can fit a few new clients in the mornings. If interested, call our office.

We just want to say thank you to everyone who has continued to support us. We very frequently have new clients call and say their loved ones told them about us. Your support means the world to us and has allowed us to grow in ways we couldn't imagine.

We are accepting new clients and have several therapists ready to help with your mental health needs. Please call our office at 810-285-8429 to get scheduled.

We are excited to announce another group opportunity here at Rooted IN Love. Trauma Reboot will begin on April 7, 2026 and will be every Tuesday for 12 weeks from 5-7pm.

This group is for co-ed 18+ and will be available virtually or in person at our office. If you would like to participate in this group please contact our office to be added to the participant list.

This group focuses on healing from trauma at any age. It is a very powerful group and will be led by our very own Marla Banister.

Meet Marla! She is one of our LLMSW. Marla is very passionate about her clients and shows empathy and kindness to everyone she meets. Her calming presence creates a safe space for her clients to open up and start their journey to healing.

Fun fact: Marla entered her spiritual journey in 2020 and uses meditation with positive affirmations.

Meet Sarah!

Sarah is one of our therapists. If she's not with one of her many faithful clients, she can be found tending to the lobby fish, in the parking lot looking for cool fossils mixed with the rocks, or being the walking encyclopedia of the office. Sarah is very passionate about the well-being of her clients. We are very lucky to have her at our clinic ❤️

Fun fact: Sarah has 6 guinea pigs named Daisy, Zinnia, Blue, Chester, Apollo, and Cappy.
