Good Morning! We have been informed that we are safe to resume normal business hours starting tomorrow! We will have to possibly change to virtual only for a few days in the future as construction begins, however, we will have advance notice to prepare and inform patients when this will occur!

Good Morning! So thankful for the ☀️and beautiful weather we have had this weekend! I wanted to share as much of an update as I have at this time concerning the office! At this time, we will remain closed to in person appointments for 6/9/25, as we work with insurance adjusters and engineers to ensure safety and integrity of the building. We are hoping to get this information at some point tomorrow! All appointments have either been cancelled or changed to telehealth per patient requests. If you have not received a phone call please reach out to us via email. Brooke will be available by email tomorrow and you can reach her at bcrow1@rootedinlovellc.com. I will also be available via email, although may not be able to respond as immediately as Brooke. My email is srpillow@rootedinlovellc.com. We are continuing to pray that we are able to resume business as usual in the coming days. We remind everyone that this will be a long process ahead of us, and may require sporadic office closures and virtual only appointments. We want to ensure continuity of care, and know that virtual may not always be the most convenient or effective form of treatment, but we hope you will work with us and show patience as we figure things out day by day!

I will make an announcement as soon as I know the trajectory for being able to be back in the office to resume normal business hours! And will post each day to update any further changes!

Unfortunately today there was an accident involving a truck colliding with our office building. By the grace of God there were not any injuries. At this time we are closed as we await information about next steps. If you call the office we will not be there to answer. !!Office News!!

It has been a while since we have posted an office Update! In the recent months we have hired some new Clinical Therapists, and are able to continue to accept new patients with immediate openings! We are wrapping up our second session of Trauma Reboot this month, as well as our first session of our Adult DBT program!!! In the summer we will begin our first session of our Adolescent DBT program and are very excited to continue to grow and expand this portion of our treatment services!

Furthermore, we continue to focus on quality care and treatment of our patients by working on applying to different resources to assist with further reducing financial barriers to maintaining mental health treatment!

As a result of the recent changes (and additions) to the office, our monthly journal articles have been put on pause! I ensure you they will be coming back within the next 1-2 months, with a consistent monthly release of new content and information!

Please stay tuned for staff introductions and spotlights!!

Today, on this rainy Wednesday, marks the 3 year anniversary for Rooted In Love!!! I am not sure there are words that can express the feeling of seeing the transformation of our office from 3 years ago to today! Many have seen the changes from day one until now, and I am so thankful for all of the support, encouragement, love and reassurance that many have provided over these last 3 years!

The office is truly a blessing, along with the many people we are able to serve, as well as the many that are walking this journey alongside us, friends/family and staff!! We thank you all for the last 3 years and prayerfully ask for many more years to come to live out our mission and provide exceptional mental health care to our community!

Thank you to God and the many others that work daily to allow our office to grow and be the best practice we can be!!

We had such a wonderful time yesterday at the Swartz Creek Connections to Wellness event! Such a great turnout! We didn’t get many pictures but we were able to share our message and the hope for Mental Health! Our mission is to be an igniting force of change in the Mental Health field and in our community! Always remember, this is not the end, there is more to your story ; ❤️




As always, we are so blessed to be able to spread the word that there is hope, there is a light at the end of the darkness! Let us help you find your way, to light a beacon and begin the process of healing, hope, discovery and change!!

We cordially invite you to attend the Third Annual Connections to Wellness in the Creek scheduled for March 22, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Swartz Creek Middle School.

This event is designed to offer an abundance of wellness resources to families in the Genesee County area and the neighboring areas, featuring over 60 community wellness organizations. The event showcases a comprehensive array of health-related information, access to mental health experts, financial wellness advice, a Mobile Food Pantry food distribution, enticing door prizes, and a brunch provided by The Pig & Hen, courtesy of Genesee Health Systems. A dedicated Fun Zone will also be available for children, ensuring an engaging experience for all ages.

This is our first year being part of this event and would love to see all of you out there!! This is a great opportunity to see what’s available to YOU and YOUR WELLNESS!

Today is the start of our Men’s only Trauma Reboot. There is still time to join the group! If you are interested contact our office to get added to the participant list!

Group alert! Our second session for Trauma Reboot will begin on March 4, 2025 from 6:30-8pm! This group is for males only 18+, and will be available virtually or in person at our office. If you would like to participate in this group please contact our office to be added to the participant list!

This group focuses on healing from trauma at any age! It is a very powerful group and will be led by Jared McLoud, a previous intern with our office!
