Quick update on Marie 💗🦋
Vets suspected she could’ve had Adisons disease. We sent more blood off , those results have come back negative unfortunately. Her vet recommended seeing how things are going on Monday and regrouping . For now I will say she is getting by ❤️‍🩹. I’ve seen her make biscuits for the first time in two weeks. Everyone is kind of at a loss . IF she makes it through Toxo treatment and still has these issues the only other route we could try is FIP treatment thats hoping she wont go into a critical state like this again and recovers now…..

Right now she needs a velvety kitten food (reccomendations would be great cant be grainy) , OTC probiotics and some Animax . I think that’ll be roughly $60-$70 all together. We have discontinued the f***l transplant suppliments and started using the probiotic for both berlioz and marie since we see similar results and one is much more price efficient than the other. I will create a wishlist JUST FOR MARIE and add it here.

If anyone local has any left over Animax Marie can use until her pharmacy opens again please reach out to me I will come to you ❤️‍🩹🐾

IT IS “whatever you can Wednesday” !!!!

Whatever you can wednesdays have been created so that anyone and EVERYONE on our page can participate! 👫👫🏾 🧑‍🦽‍➡️👩‍🦯‍➡️🧎‍♀️‍➡️🤳🙏

We are in a really bad way at this moment in time . Between being out of p*e pads, flea treatment, and food (regular AND RX) I am worried….we still have not raised enough to even order Marie’s medication as she remains in critical condition.

I have combined ALL of our MOST 🚨 URGENT 🚨 NEEDS into one goal ‼️❤️‍🩹‼️

I could talk all day about the realities and devastation we have seen as a Rescue all month , but all we can do at this point is focus on the solution…. ‼️we have been called to make payment to get meds on the way to the rescue and we can not complete payment ‼️

Marie does have more interest in food than before but not in the way we had hoped . She is pretty out of it despite being on sucralfate, cerenia, miritaz, pepcid, and b-12…..

We are to the point where Marie is needing assistance with feedings via syringe .

Berlioz is feeling well ! Hes helping stir food again and pulling my hair , his two favorite activities ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Not a happy camper YET and certainly has ALOT to say about his recent adventure and new environment , but im sure we’ll make friends very soon 🫶🐾🐱🦋

We’ve decided on jalapeño and so far have found either mom or dad can’t be sure yet . But after a feeding a snuggle, a bath and LOTS of spits we’ve discovered little jalapeño is a GIRL 🎀

Marie and Berlioz update 🐱 🐱
They both decided to go downhill on Wednesday/Thursday , their suppliments were LATE in the mail “due to the fires and weather ” . I am not sure if that’s what caused it or if this is just another bad flare of symptoms from the TOXO .

They both received their vitamin B12 injections last minute, Thanks to Bobbie and Faten ❤️‍🩹 Marie also received her fluids needed.

After returning from our appointment the vomiting was no longer present , diarrhea, and no appetite, were now our biggest concern .

THIS MORNING I watched both of them take actual bites of their wet food and hard food, not just licks of the gravy🥳

I have been able to syringe their medication and supplement with a bit of unsalted chicken broth. And they seem to be improving little by little every day.

Berlioz medication has arrived in the mail . Dr. Harris from Vca will be placing the order for Marie’s on Monday. That way both can be treated together.

We will need to raise more money to make sure supplements are arriving on time. Food orders can be placed on time as well as raising money to pay for the compounded medication Marie will require.

Fundraisers will go up for that Sunday and Monday.
I believe we can do it if we work together and keep all of our cats in a row 😉 we have come all of this way we will not stop or give up now!!

URGENT ‼️

Sad news , Marie has taken a turn for the worse throwinf up blood yet again 🩸🩸 🩸 , I suspect not treating berlioz and Marie together has caused her to reinfect …. Currently seeking donations for supportive care medication and an exam . She will need to be treated with Berlioz.

Her appointment is set for tomorrow exam fee is $55 medication will be roughly$25- $70.

ANYTHING HELPSAND IS MORE THAN APPRECIATED AT THIS TIME
