Recently, The Waters of Sweetwater had some very fashionable SPIRIT Days!

March was , and The Waters of Sweetwater would like to introduce our amazing Social Service Director, Ashley Eller.

Ashley joined The Waters team on September 19, 2025 and from day one has been a huge advocate for our residents. She has a variety of social service experience through time with DCS, Community Services, Long term Care and even in an Activity Department where she wanted to make sure the residents days were full of encouragement and fun. Ashley lives in Loudon County with her children and believes being a part of a community is how you strive to bring the best. She loves the outdoors, family time and being able to support everyone she meets.

The Waters of Sweetwater is beyond grateful to have Ashley on our team and knows that she is truly wanting the best for our residents, families, and facility. Thank you Ashley!! 💙

🌟 Please join us in congratulating our Star of The Week, Lois! 🌟

Lois came to The Waters of Sweetwater after a fall caused by an arthritic knee which left her with increased pain and weakness. She could barely move around in the bed and required max assist for all mobility. But at 94, she was determined to maintain the independence she has worked hard to maintain since her husband died last year. She pushed through pain. We got her a knee brace and a cortisone shot in the knee, and she is now able to walk household distances and do all of her own self-care. Our therapy team did a visit to her home to see how she can move around and made some recommendations for increasing safety.

Lois left us with “I love everyone here; you’ve helped me so much. I’ll miss you all!” She’s been an inspiration to all of us, and we will miss her too! She is going home with good family support, and we are looking forward to hearing how well she is doing!

Please join us in celebrating and welcoming our amazing new Activity Director, Chelsea Henderson, during ! 🎉

Chelsea has just come on board at The Waters of Sweetwater, and she’s already bringing fresh ideas, energy, and excitement to our community. A CNA with over five years of experience in long-term care, Chelsea has supported activities as an aide when needed, helped run an employees’ children’s summer camp, and previously worked in daycare as a lead teacher — where organization and creativity were key. 💖

Chelsea has a true passion for creating meaningful experiences and loves spending time doing activities and trips with her husband and two children, with a third on the way! Her goal is to provide our residents with opportunities to stay engaged, get out of their rooms, and live actively — just like home — alongside The Waters of Sweetwater family. 🌟

We are so excited to have you, Chelsea, and can’t wait to see the joy you’ll continue to bring to our residents!

As we move through cold and flu season, help us protect our residents ❤️

If you’re feeling under the weather, we kindly ask that you refrain from visiting until you’re feeling better. Even mild symptoms can put our residents at risk.

This includes:
🤒 Fever or feeling hot
😷 Cough or sore throat
🤧 Runny or blocked nose
🤕 General feeling of being unwell
